Project management is one of the most challenging aspects of the contemporary business set up, growth and evolution. Being able to mobilise and manage projects gives the companies a crucial driver of competitiveness in almost all sectors. This course opens to international and multidisciplinary views since Project management can focus on international themes, products, organisations and internal or external services within the companies’ activities.
In today's fast changing global environment, fostering and managing innovation is as relevant for a start-up as it is for large enterprises, government or social businesses. This module introduces students to frameworks, cases and articles covering a range of themes- where ideas come from, how an innovation ecosystem is created, principles of lean-hypothesis for launching of new products, services and ventures.
The objective of this course is to give a solid base and strength in managing from simple projects to complexes ones within programs. Case studies are used in the course in order to help student transforming conceptual frameworks to practical business’s opportunities. The final project and presentation would give students an opportunity for team-work and apply a project management based process to managing innovation. The course will be co-taught by Professor Florence Labati and Professor Rakhi Mehra
