In this course we will study Cognitive Psychology history and evolution in time, we will go through the main topics in the field (perception, attention, learning and memory, reasoning, emotion, decision making, motivation) from theoretical assumptions and foundational experiments to modern applications and future perspectives (artificial intelligence, neuroeconomy).
We will use as learning tools: frontal lectures, full class discussion of experiments and papers, little group work on papers to gain practical experience in the scientific reasoning process, audiovisual material.
