The pursuit of opportunities is the essence of Entrepreneurship. This course offers a practice- based and experiential learning approach to curate an entrepreneurial mindset and lead a global venture. The entrepreneurial drive is a skill-set required beyond start-ups. It is not a personality trait but set of capabilities that can be learnt. The mindset is as valuable in growing a family business, launching a new corporate project or a leading a social impact venture.

The fourteen class sessions will provide students with a broad overview of international entrepreneurship. This class is expected to be highly interactive in nature and thus class participation is essential. Through case-discussions, guest lectures and group exercises, students will get exposed to the tool-set for leading project amidst uncertainty. It will enable students to identify new market needs and building the entrepreneurial mindset required for converting ideas into opportunity. Students will gain insights into evaluating both successful start-up strategies while assessing and learning from less-successful attempts. The course culminates with a feasibility report on the team's discovery of customer needs and a proposed business model.
