Health and Well-Being

Franklin values a holistic student experience both in and out of the classroom. Health and well-being are important aspects of living at Franklin. To ensure a positive student life experience, the University offers on-campus health services as well as access to off-campus services in Lugano, by also assisting with arranging mandatory Swiss health insurance for all enrolled students.

Off-Campus Specialists

Students also have the opportunity to meet with a specialist off-campus. The Health Services Staff can assist with a referral to see a specialist off-campus. Students are encouraged to discuss payment requirements and options before going to an appointment with an off-campus specialist.

Controlled Substances

The Student Handbook has health policies that include a range of topics. The policy references controlled substances that must be reported to the Coordinator of Health and Wellness and/or the University Counselor.
